Safety Rules

1.    All children under the age of 7 must wear a life jacket at all times while on any part of the yacht club dock area and must be accompanied by an adult.  

2. No playing on floating docks, boat hoists, boat ramps or boating equipment at any time.

3. All Juniors on club property after dusk must be accompanied by an adult.   

4.  Junior Sailing Center and boat storage areas (Opti’s, etc) are off limits to Juniors during the Friday night dinners.

Friday Night Dinners 

There have been several incidents at recent Friday night dinners where young children without life jackets or adult supervision have been found playing on the docks and with the boat hoists, throwing rocks at boats and causing other potential damage to club property and themselves.  For the safety and well being of all club members, it is requested that parents adhere to these safety rules and monitor the actions of their young children at all times while on club property.

The safety of children, especially during Friday night dinners, is the responsibility of the respective parents.  The Club is not providing any supervision or child-care during these events.
